BID STAFF BIO
As economic development manager, Jamie plays a crucial strategic and advisory role in understanding and strengthening the Georgetown economy. He works with the commercial real estate community, community groups, city leaders, and BID members to provide data analysis and strategic counsel on the Georgetown economy that helps to inform business decisions and support a healthy and vibrant commercial district.
Jamie comes to the BID from Georgetown University, where most recently he was assistant director of community engagement. In that role, he worked on multiple strategic initiatives to support the university's campus plan, strengthen the university’s partnership with its neighbors, and fulfill the university’s role as an anchor institution in the District. He also served on the Transportation Working Group for Georgetown 2028. Jamie earned his Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
