BID STAFF BIO
As the BID's Street Services Manager, Dan is responsible for continuously monitoring all aspects of Georgetown’s public environment while organizing maintenance, repairs and improvements from the BID’s contractors, City agencies, utility companies and the National Park Service to produce a clean, safe and inviting public realm throughout the commercial district.
Previously, Dan served as a police officer with the Fairfax Police Department, recently retiring after twenty years of service as a midnight patrol division supervisor. A native Washingtonian, Dan is from Takoma Park (MD) and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology - Criminal Justice from Bowie State University.
In his time spare time away from the BID, Dan enjoys exercising, attending any stand-up comedy show and ultimately he loves raising his 6 year old daughter (Jazmine) and his 4 year old son (Daniel II).
